If you require assistance between 6am to 8am and 6pm to 7pm weekdays or 6am to 12 noon Saturdays then please call 0431 722 101. Wollongong hospital may also be accessed for emergency after hours care.

Every effort will be made to accomodate your preferred time. emergencies will be given priority and our reception staff will notify you of any unforseen delays. Longer consultations are available, so please advice the reception staff if you require some extra time.

The practice principals, Dr Syed Adil Zafar and Dr (Mrs) Farkhanda Qamar commenced trading as Bellambi Medical Centre on the 2nd Novemeber 2008. The practice is located in a small complex of shops with ample parking, designated disabled parking and disabled access. The doctors have satisfied the training requirements of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and are on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners. Your doctor will advice when they expect results to arrive at the practice. You can telephone the practice to check if your results have arrived. It is practice policy not to disclose results over the telephone. Your doctor may request that you make a follow up appointment to discuss the results.
Our practice is commited to preventive care. Your doctor will seek your permission to be included on our reminder system. We may issue you a reminder notice from the time offering you preventative health services appropriate to your care.

Doctors in the practice may be contacted during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is in consultation with a patient the reception staff will take a message which will be given to the doctor at the end of the session. This is the time that the doctors will action telephone messages and return calls as necessary. Your call will always be put through to the doctor in an emergency.
